Favorite Spots in Baja California

We tremendously enjoyed the marvellous climate and the beautiful beaches in Baja de California in November when we found a lot of amazing camp spots along lonesome beaches at the sea of Cortez and along the pacific coast.

Lonesome beach 1 Km north of  Cabo Pulmo (South-east cost between Cabo San Lucas and La Paz)  
While driving north past the big visible campground at Cabo Pulmo, take the first turnoff to the right after about 1km and drive down to the beach. (4WD recommended...)


Baja California - Mexico - fun adventure (Break from volcano expeditions)		 5th - 22th November - Baja de California Adventure - Mexico.

Baya Coyote, Sea of Cortez    (6$ per night)             Playa de Escondido (15 Km South of Mulage)  (5$ per night)
                                                                                    --> nice&calm beach with about 20 Palapas for hire....

Nameless Beach (pacific coast)                                 Camp 20 km north of Mulage (Punta Chivato) - NICE!!!

Volcanos in Baja California:

Well, tired as we are from our almost 30000 Miles of travelling across Canada and Alaska and down to Mexico these extinct Volcanos in Baja California did not attract us enough to climb and apparently... - we even have to admitt that - we don't even know exactly when they were formed and when they used to be active...

So instead we enjoyed the beachtime, the sun, reading and writing and of course the encounters with the very friendly mexicans who showed incredible patience and humour with our first attempt to speak spanish.
