Thanx to our boat we were able to explore a lot of unforgettable wilderness spots in Alaska & Canada - and I would just defenitely say: It is a must to have a canoe in these countries!!

It took us a long time to evaluate and find the perfect boat for our needs. A very important criteria for us was the ability to fold our boat to a very small size (transportability with the car as well as the ability to take the boat on planes). We found some dealers with so called foldable canoes (the best one seemed to be "Feathercraft") and some with inflatable solutions as the one we finally bought from "Grabner".

Grabner produces a variety of different inflatable boats with different strengths in canoeing, rafting, sailing, motor-boating usw.

As we were asked about a hundred times by now where we got our really amazing canoe from... - and we definitely recommend this Austrian brand in all terms (setup, quality, awsome sailing-features & stability - even with great winds!)... - we thought we would

The features are:

Outside (professional) with bildge-tube, D-ring-fittings, inside motor mount (this is necessary to steer the sailboat!).

Sail-equipment (is expensive - but  has professional quality) - You NEED the

2 Seatboards, Middle-Bag, Sternbag, Spraydeck, Seat-hatch, Backbags (sail&boat), Tigh belts and more...

One hint if buying accessories - especially the sailing-gear:
--> Have Grabner glue all the necessary latches and things for You - It is a lot of work to get the sailing equipment ready (motormount, Stabilizer-mount a.s.o).!!!!
